Elshadhai Civils is a civil construction company that is 100% black owned. We are a specialist road construction and asphalt surfacing company in Gauteng that has been operating since 2007. Although we are based in Gauteng, we operate in all of South Africa’s provinces in an effort to become the preferred road construction and asphalt surfacing company in the SADC region.
We operate road surfacing, logistics and a plant hire divisions.

Our team has over 15 years of experience in the construction and asphalt surfacing industry. We provide quality work in all surfacing requirements to our customers.
Products and services
ELSHADHAI CIVILS is sub-divided into two divisions, construction division and plant hire.
The construction division specialises in surfacing and road maintenance including:
- Upgrade of roads from gravel to asphalt (tar).
- Milling (removal) of old asphalt and resurfacing.
- Bulk earthworks.
- Concrete works, including bridges.
- Brick paving and kerbing road maintenance.
- Routine road maintenance, pothole patching, grass cutting, guardrails repairs, fencing, and road markings.
- Road rehabilitation.
Our plant hire division supplies the following equipment:
- Vogel asphalt paver
- Ride-on roller
- Pneumatic rollers
- Pedestrian rollers
- Plate compactors
- Bitumen sprayers
